Anders Hejlsberg Anders Hejlsberg is a Technical Fellow in the Developer Division. He is an influential creator of development tools and programming languages. He is the chief designer of the C# programming language and a key participant in the development of the Microsoft .NET framework. Since its initial release in 2000, the C# programming language has been widely adopted and is now standardized by ECMA and ISO. Before his work on C# and the .NET framework, Hejlsberg was an architect for Visual J++ development and the Windows Foundation classes. Before joining Microsoft in 1996, Hejlsberg was one of the first employees of Borland International Inc. As principal engineer, he was the original author of Turbo Pascal, a revolutionary integrated development environment, and chief architect of its successor, Delphi. Hejlsberg co-authored "The C# Programming Language", published by Addison Wesley, and has received numerous software patents. In 2001, he was the recipient of the prestigious Dr. Dobbs Excellence in Programming Award. He studied engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.

Brian Keller Brian Keller Brian Keller is a Senior Technical Evangelist for Microsoft specializing in Visual Studio and application lifecycle management. Brian has been with Microsoft since 2002 and has presented at conferences all over the world. Charlie Kindel Charlie Kindel has been building, shipping, and selling software products for over 30 years. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Systems Engineering, Software Option, he joined Microsoft in 1990. His first 9 years at Microsoft were spent focused on delivering technologies and products to developer and IT professional customers. He co-founded Microsoft Premier Support and drove Microsoft's platform strategy as an evangellist in Microsoft's Developer Relations Group. He was instrumental in driving Microsoft’s distributed object technology shipping Microsoft’s Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM), ActiveX technologies, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft’s web server, IIS. In 1999 Charlie changed his focus to consumers when he joined the Consumer Windows effort. He ran engineering teams responsible for the home networking features of consumer versions of Windows Windows ME and Windows XP. He drove such features as Internet Connection Sharing, the Home Network Setup Wizard, firewall, and the network bridge into all versions of Windows. Charlie went on to run several incubation efforts focused on consumer home networking and entertainment products. Charlie helped found the eHome Division and drove the creation of Windows Media Center and Windows Media Center Extenders. From 2002 to 2004 Charlie was the Executive Technical Assistant to Sr. Vice President Bob Muglia. In this role Charlie drove technical and business alignment for Microsoft’s enterprise storage, management, and Windows Server products for the Server and Tools Division. In the following four years, Charlie ideated, incubated, and shipped Windows Home Server, a revolutionary new product category that simplifies families’ digital lives and serves as the cornerstone of Microsoft’s Connected Home strategy. As of February 10, 2009 Charlie is responsible for the Windows Mobile 7 Application Platform & Developer Experience (codename "Yamanote"). Charlie loves anything that moves electrons or makes noise, all-mountain skiing, playing and coaching soccer, restoring cars, water sports, and a myriad of other hobbies. He has two amazing children (16 and 13), a wonderful wife and lives in suburbia.

Felienne Hermans Felienne Hermans received her Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering in 2008 and is currently working as a PhD student at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. She performs her research in the PerPlex-project, a collaboration between Microsoft, Avanade and Delft University of Technology. Research in this project focusses on model driven engineering in industry, in particular the generation of models from end-user documents. In 2009 her first paper, a case study on the use of domain-specific languages in practice was published in the MoDELS-conference in Denver, Colorado. Gert Drapers Gert Drapers is a Principal Software Architect in the Identity and Access team at Microsoft Corp. He joined Microsoft in 1991; prior to this current position he has been a member of the SQL Server development team where he held various positions varying from development to management and contributed to SQL Server 7.0, 2000 and 2005. Matt Milner Matt is a member of the technical staff at Pluralsight, where he focuses on connected systems technologies (WCF, Windows WF, BizTalk, "Dublin" and the Azure Services Platform). Matt is also an independent consultant specializing in Microsoft .NET application design and development. As a writer Matt has contributed to several journals and magazines including MSDN Magazine where he currently authors the workflow content for the Foundations column. Menzo Steinhorst Menzo Steinhorst is Senior Premier Field Engineer voor Microsoft Services. In deze rol ondersteunt hij premier klanten met het gebruik van SQL Server. Peli de Halleux Jonathan ‘Peli’ de Halleux. Peli is a Senior Research Software Design Engineer in the Research in Software Engineering group at Microsoft Research in Redmond, USA, where he has been since October 2006 working the Pex project. From 2004 to 2006, he worked in the Common Language Runtime (CLR) as a Software Design Engineer in Test in charge of the Just In Time compiler. Before joining Microsoft, he earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Catholic University of Louvain. Earlier, he developed the unit testing framework MbUnit.

Sara Ford Sara Ford is the Program Manager for CodePlex, Microsoft’s open source project hosting site.
